In Cree, we say ᑖᓂᓯ tânsi (hello, how are you?) as a means to welcome a new friend, new day or new season. Today we are pleased to welcome you to LODGE Soy Candles, ᑖᓂᓯ tânsi.
Inspired through ceremony and ancestral knowledge our ᓂᑑᑭᒫᐢᑵᒼ nitōkimāskwēm (leaders, chieftesses) Cree/Métis Designer and Artist Angela DeMontigny founded LODGE soy candles to ᒥᔨᑯᓯᐏᐣ miyikosiwin (gift) ceremony and light into peoples lives.
Each of the six scents, comprising the Ceremony collection, and the special editions that Angela has created embrace the spirit and intention of Indigenous wellness and bring the natural world into your home. Oils derived from the plants, trees and spices used since time immemorial that bring peace, calm, clarity, cleansing, positive energy and healing.
They are ᐸᒥᐦᐃᓯᐃᐧᐣ pamihisiwin (an act of self care.)
